| General Ella’s Concrete Division has assembled an experienced team of craftsmen capable of con- structing all things concrete. This division not only complements the utility division, by allowing us to self perform the related concrete structures, but also provides our clients with an option to incorporate the “Ella Difference” into their structural concrete requirements. Structural Concrete Working as a specialty trade subcontractor and through strict adherence to Ella’s Core Values, this division is setting the standard for commercial site concrete construction in the South Central Texas Region. Having completed such high profile projects as “The Foleys Department Store at The Shops at La Cantera” which involved an elevated slab on piers and perimeter foundation wall along with second and third story decks, such technically proficient projects as “The Centurion Mini- Storage Facility” which involved a three-story tilt-wall atop a one story cast-in-place wall over a slab on grade and such time sensitive projects as “The TMMT Medical Facility” at the new Toyota Truck Manufacturing Plant, this division has established Ella’s ability to meet and exceed the needs of the areas most demanding clients and projects. Civil Concrete Working in harmony with the utility division, this division has the capacity to construct all of the concrete structures related to underground utility construction as well as site construction. This proficiency gives the client one point of contact for everything related to underground utilities on his project. This division has demonstrated the ability to serve not only the needs of the private site, but also the demands of public works improvement contracts. Capabilities This division has the capability to furnish and install the following: 1. Public and Private Storm Drainage Structures 2. Public and Private Storm Detention and Retention Facilities 3. Public and Private Retaining Walls 4. Slabs on Grade (with or without piers) 5. Elevated Slabs 6. Precast Tilt-Walls 7. Colored Concrete 8. Sidewalks, Driveways, etc. 9. Site Concrete Paving Services Ella is prepared to assist our clients during any stage of design and/or construction. We are happy to review plans in progress and provide comments regarding constructability to the design staff. Once plans are in sufficient form, we will prepare conservative “pro-forma’ cost proposals to enable our clients to secure financing or prepare budgets. If plans have been previously prepared, we can suggest value-engineering items that will save the client time or money and in most cases, both. During construction, our field personnel will coordinate with the client’s other contractors and constantly analyze the project in the hopes of providing suggestions that will enhance not only our performance, but that of the project as a whole. We will have in attendance at all jobsite meetings a representative who is capable of making decisions on behalf of Ella and ensuring that promises made are fulfilled.
